【中秋節由來】當人類登上月球後,我們為什麼還要過農曆八月十五?

1969年阿波羅11號登陸月球,荒涼寂靜的灰塵與岩石打破了千年來關於月宮與嫦娥的浪漫幻想。當人類發現月球上既沒有廣寒宮,也沒有玉兔與桂樹時,傳統「祭祀月神」的宗教與神話色彩便逐漸淡去。然而,中秋節並沒有因此消失,反而轉變為以親情團聚與季節感恩為核心的文化符號。

那麼,在拋開月亮神話後,當初人們究竟為什麼會把這個節日訂在「農曆八月十五日」?

一、 為什麼是農曆八月十五?與農耕與季節的深遠關係

雖然部分沿海地區會在特定潮汐季節舉行漁獲感謝祭,但中秋節最根本的起源並非漁獲,而是農業生產與氣候規律

  1. 「三秋之中」的氣候黃金點:古代將秋季的三個月份分別稱為孟秋、仲秋、季秋。農曆八月十五日正好處於整個秋季的正中間,因此稱為「中秋」或「仲秋」。此時氣候「秋高氣爽、寒暑均等」,也是一年中夜晚天空最為澄澈、月亮看起來最為明亮璀璨的時刻。
  2. 秋收感恩的農耕文明:農曆八月是作物與果實陸續成熟收穫的季節。在以農立國的古代社會,農民在八月十五前後完成了繁忙的秋收,為了感謝大地與天地的賜予,會舉辦慶祝豐收的祭祀活動,這也是中秋節最原始的世俗動機。

二、 「中秋」這個名稱是由哪裡先設立的?

「中秋」這兩個字的出現與「中秋節」成為一個正式節日,歷經了漫長的演變:

  • 概念最早出現在《周禮》:「中秋」一詞最早可追溯至CHINA先秦時期的《周禮》,但當時的「中秋」指的是農曆八月這個時間區段(仲秋),而非一個特定的節日。當時帝王會在秋分時節進行「夕月」(祭拜月亮)的國家禮儀。
  • 唐李氏帝國(CHINA):形成賞月風貌:到了唐帝國,隨著社會經濟繁榮,文人雅士開始流行在八月十五夜晚聚會飲酒、吟詩賞月,「中秋賞月」逐漸演變成民間與貴族的風俗,但當時尚未被列入官方法定節假日。
  • 宋趙氏帝國(CHINA):正式確立為法定節日:將農曆八月十五日正式定名為「中秋節」並成為全民同樂的節日,誕生於宋趙氏帝國。南宋吳自牧在《夢梁錄》中明確記載:「八月十五日中秋節,此日三秋臨半,故謂之『中秋』。」這是歷史典籍中明確出現「中秋節」名稱與固定日期的重要里程碑。

從古老的秋收感恩、唐宋的賞月詩情,到如今登月後的團圓象徵,中秋節的內涵隨著時代轉變,但其核心始終是人與人之間的情感連結。
